    I see the buyback is really kicking in again and pushing the share price back up from the announcement.

    I wonder why they do the buyback when guidance is lower.
    Shouldn't they use the cash to generate other areas for growth instead of sacking workers and buying back stock? I see it as a negative when companies sack people as it means they are running out of ideas.

    On the other hand I noticed Lantheus bought a company that is working on a imaging product for cognitive decline called MK-2640
    Although not directly competing but I think it's still potentially disruptive to CGS?
    Although not a big revenue earner for Lantheus yet they must still see potential in this otherwise why did they acquire?

    Posting here to get some thoughts.
