It seems to me that if the terms of progress on milestones for the company are not linked to share price, then an ann can be worded to correlate with that clause and not result in growth in value

And why would Denison, Edwards and Quirk want to correlate an announcement to prevent growth in value of the share price? They only own 74mill of the buggers between them. All the current action shows is that management can't control the market and share price, all they can do is strive to achieve the goals and the share price will eventually look after itself.
