COUGAR ENERGY APPOINTS HEAD OF
CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS

Cougar Energy Limited (ASX: CXY) is pleased to advise the appointment of Greg Meyer as Executive
General Manager, Corporate Communications.
Mr Meyer will be responsible for implementing the media and communication strategy for the Company’s
Asian Business Strategy. He will also look after internal and external corporate communications, both
domestically and internationally, including media, shareholder and government relations, stakeholder
engagement, branding and marketing.
Greg steps out of a role as Director, Communications with the Victorian Government’s Department of
Planning and Community Development. Prior to that, he was General Manager of Corporate
Communications at Linc Energy Limited in Brisbane.
He also comes to Cougar Energy with extensive government communications experience at a senior level
and over a decade’s experience as a senior journalist with national television and radio networks around
Australia.
“I am delighted to have secured Greg’s services. I witnessed firsthand his excellent work at Linc Energy
and he understands our business and is well qualified to position the Cougar Energy message in our target
markets in Asia”, said Cougar Energy’s CEO and Managing Director Rob Neill.
“A new corporate website will be one of the first tasks on Greg’s agenda, to reposition Cougar Energy for
an international market,” Mr Neill said.
Mr Meyer commenced his duties on Monday 24th September 2012 at Cougar Energy’s head office in
Melbourne.
