The ASX is closed on Sat and Sunday and public holidays - is that also unacceptable?
Even if you sell your shares settlement is T+2 - also unacceptable?
TH and Vol Suspensions are not new things in share trading. If you need 24 hour access to your money, keep it under your mattress or invest in a market which is online at all time. I have no issue with my shares not being tradeable at present. I think you are making it into a much bigger issue than it is.
