Unless IPH intends a hostile takeover at this late hour, I think take the $1.81. Unfortunately, the initial shareholders and former partners suffered a wipeout when QIP was floated in August 2016 with an IPO price of $2.22.Even accounting for all the dividends paid over the years, it would've been painful for the initial shareholders to watch the share price languish at $0.95 to $1 most of the time QIP has traded.In retrospect, perhaps it was better to have stayed private than incur the cost and time of going public and the overhead with the administration of a publicly listed company.
