Interesting seeing where SPR is trading (a 12% discount from just over a week ago) despite Au trading near all time highs. I've had the phone call inquiring as to my intention in the upcoming vote. I wonder whether the feed back has been less than overwhelming with voting through the Scheme? I intend to vote "No". I do want the transaction to occur but not under these terms. I'm unconvinced regarding the agreed split which I think is under baked for SPR holders. It should & could yet still be undertaken as a transaction of equals......the new company split evenly between the shareholders of both SPR & RMS. From the get-go I have been unhappy with the mandatory cash component of the offer & its dilutive effect on SPR shareholders in "new-co". They could at least offer an entirely scrip offer for those that want it. I do. I simply want more, not much but I think it's attainable & equitable for shareholders in both companies.
