The (so called) independent expert is an idiot, or maybe not, depending on how you interpret it.
They got paid $250,000 grand for the report, but I could have done it last Saturday between 3pm and 4pm while barbecuing a snagger on my patio, and having a beer, for a mere $80,000 - a bargain I say, but they would have caught me on a relaxed day when my prices are discounted, but it would still have saved Senex $170,000, which could have been returned to shareholders ... ha ha ...
It's mindless stuff, and easy, as I'm squeezing on the tomato sauce, create a price, don't make the lower end below $4 and don't mention the five ($5) word on the upper range, keep it below that, otherwise the peasants will be revolting, or someone else may get interested in bidding.
It actually takes an IQ of about 23 to figure that out, and that's even probably insulting the morons, or the hominids living in their caves ... ha ha ...
Blind Man Freddy can even see this, it's a VERY SIMPLE fact - Senex is Undervalued.
1. Everybody knows it,
2. the independent experts knows it (but didn't want to explicitly say, 'cause they want their fee),
3. the AFR article writer knows,
4. all the shareholders on HC know it,
5. the fundies know it,
6. even Cody the surfing penguin knows it.
The whole thing is taking on the look and feel of a rort !!!
I can understand the CEO's position though, to a small extent, because he may (probably) get a pay-day of nearly $10 million dollars, which is very difficult to resist.
Gas prices are booming, and will for years and years to come.
So what (secret) incentives has the lovely Gina and her POSCO gang potentially hinted at while wining and dining the Senex chaps on board the multi-billion dollar launch? Isn't this how it works?
We all know by now (or SHOULD all know) Ferengi Rule of Acquisition (ROA) number 26.
"The vast majority of the rich in this galaxy did not inherit their wealth, they stole it".
Or even rule number 223 (with a slight modification).
"Rich men and women don't come to buy, they come to take".
