We need to remember that BAL also owns Viplus brand and also Camperdown manufacturing facility. But yes, if Mengniu takes over, approval would not be an issue. It is believed that when the brand was at its peak, production forecast was 1M cans per month which if Mengniu will be able to reach especially with general trade label being approved, the share price should theoretically be valued at around $16, hence not a bad deal for Mengniu should all go to plan.
