Denver, the price has already risen substantially within a short period time and some investors were waiting to take profits, so as to not be too greedy as they say. Usually in a micro sized stock like CVT people will wait for some news to be able to sell of their full holding at a price that's favourable, with a view that they don't know when they might get an opportunity soon to liquidate their holdings. Also people have different reasons to sell, whether its because they invested for the short term or need cash for unforeseen reasons etc etc but what's consistant with these sized stocks is that on news is when people usually take that opportunity. If the news is unforseen and totally grounbreaking some will hesistate and in those circumtances the buyers will outweight sellers and the price will rise regardless, for news like today you may say it was slightly priced in and not of a nature to stop people selling who'd decided prior that they wanted out.

I'm also interested in the advice you received, but more interesting to me is which broker advised you of this?
