My reading is that Billis wants RIM to realise its potential.

Looks like he funded GPR in support of RIM (and himself as he is a savvy investor). Seemingly Billis was led to RIM by Giovinazzo who has now dudded him. Resulting in Billis dragging Giovinazzo into court alleging fraud. Giovinazzo is a former convicted, jailed fraudster so the saying about "...leopards not changing their spots..." may have some merit?

I see Billis wanting control to take RIM to places the current Board cannot. He has my vote! Back the man who backs the company.
