Coles JV will likely continue to pay rent. This is because Coles's operations are not impacted by the pubs closure. The bottleshops are doing brisk business indeed, alcoholism on the rise due to COVID-19. The QLD's laws mean that the rent must be paid to ensure operation of the bottleshops. the bottleshops licenses are part of the lease. Coles is a blue chip business and wont want breach any lease terms especially during COVID-19.
