We all have our own sense of why the FDA decided to buck the ODAC decision, a pretty darned compelling 9-1 vote.
Some people reckon it's BIG PHARMA behind it, others sense that MSB (which may be listed in and have operations in the US, is still Aussie) got shafted because it's not American.
I don't think it's worth debating why they issued the CRL, where we can only speculate, and MSB appears to have a very good plan to obtain approval for under 12s, with the concurrent ARDS trial, if successful, likely being far too compelling for the FDA to ignore, particularly where people are dying en masse in the US.
