I don't think a MIS C trial is warranted , the population is to small for a trial. Perhaps a Emergency Use Authorisation or extension wouldn't be to difficult for the FDA to grant.
Two children's lives saved may not be significant in the grand scheme of things however to those that are close to them it is huge.
Considering how desperate the US is for good news this is likely to become the good news story. Trump needs any thing he can get when it comes to COVID 19.
