NST announcement looks sugar-coated and should serve as a warning for shareholders. Covid-19 is a convenient excuse. Put it into perspective - even today the Kal and POGO operations are continuing. The POG is up and the AUD low, this should significantly improves NSTs earlier forecasts and the money should be flooding in, and the dividends increasing.
Truth is, or so I suspect, POGO's earlier ASIC was creative accounting - POGO has had complete threads on how it may serve to be the undoing of NST!
With an overvalued SP and falling earnings unable to support the present SP. IMO NST has much more downside to go. The dreamers were only yesterday espousing NST will burst through $30 soon...impossible!
I'm sorry for the mums and dads that have been denied their dividends that they may already have committed. NST management have shown little regard for them.
