a simple search into literature about the compound being tested will show you this is not fluff, this is a legit cure that has been known for some time, people have struggled with delivery of the compound though, MXC have managed this issue. It has been known to work against SARS and MERS, both human coronaviruses.
For MXC to show activity in all patients is huge news IMO, next phase 2b will be telling. They have already set up distribution chains in the even of a successful outcome and hence must be confident.
