I suspect these malaria and HIV drugs people have been mentioning are extremely effective at preventing deaths. No one wants to publish that or people will get complacent so they are keeping it quiet.

I predict the number of deaths in Australia from Covid 19 affecting people who were otherwise healthy (ie not in a nursing home or going to die within a year anyway) will be very small. Possibly immaterial to IVC's earnings.

In a few years we will be in economic depression and wonder whether it was all worth it.

Currently most of the infected people are those travelling in from overseas. Not many 80 year olds travel, so by default the highest number of infected are younger. In fact they published it today and the age group of the highest number of those infected in Australia is between 45-65 years old.. lots of business travellers and retirees.. they don't want it to get to the 80 yo.. btw there is a 30 yo in intensive care!
