Your thoughts are similar to mine... and I'm not optimistic that they have been able to reign in costs over the last six months.
I understood most of the new BDM headcount came from Bendigo but rampant wage inflation - especially for engineers - would hurt. Anecdotally, there has been a high turnover of experienced staff which is why Tyro is now amenable to hiring staff in other locations.
I wonder if their outsourced engineering arrangement in China will come back to bite them...
