Index inclusions usually do nothing to the SP.
Tyro predictably getting smashed today on an old pattern of lockdown trading... Assuming a 4-6 week lockdown with many businesses still operating in a modified form (eg. takeaways from cafes) then the effect on the full year results should be pretty minimal. Delays to profitability etc. are overblown, this next few weeks should present opportunities to acquire Tyro shares at a pretty reasonable price... especially if other states lock down or if the lockdown in Sydney is extended.
It won't be as profitable as buying on the short seller attack but there should be some bargains to be had here.
