Looking at the market as a whole, share prices are hammered across the board. It could be tempting to just go for the most sold down stocks that could be anywhere from 40% to 80% down from the peak. But the danger is some companies may be sold down for good reason and may not recover that much at best or worse may go out of business if they don't have the cashflows to stay afloat.
That is why I am doing all the research I can before putting any money down on any stocks at the moment. I've leant the hard way surviving through the GFC heavily wounded, that just because something is dirt cheap it's not a bargain.
