I've been in AEF for a couple of years now. In and out. I originally bought in because it had strong growth and the split made it more affordable to retail investors like myself. When it was becoming overpriced and weighing to heavily in my portfolio I sold out to hedge... Worst idea ever because it kept going up, and each time I looked for another reentry point I always had to buy in at a higher price than I liked.

Ethical investing will definitely be an important factor for the future. Especially when all this virus stuff passes, people will resume to normal activities to some degree, or thinking about what really matters in life - ethics will play a big part in that.

I'm a fundamentals kind of guy, and all the policies around the world focused on sustainability areas points to a growing interest and government incentives to these areas. AEF knows this, and is trying to pick those that will perform best.
