A little harsh perhaps. Once the restrictions were put in place it should have been obvious to everyone that discretionary dental and particularly aesthetic dentistry (which seems to be where their growth was coming from) is likely to be hit for a period at least.

But even as this was happening there were those on here saying what a great investment it was (which it may be long term, it's still an enviable company in many respects).

I expect management can only announce when they see an actual decline in orders and it's quite feasible that it's taken a few weeks for that to become concrete.

Everything else comes down to what's "likely" to happen based on publicly available information and that information is/was just as available to you as it is to anyone within the company.

So in my humble opinion you may want to take a little more responsibility for your own investment decisions rather than having a go at management for something outside of their control. It's arguable whether they might have seen indications of this earlier but I've been ruthlessly examining my portfolio for potential impacts and really only came down on the negative regarding SDI in the past few days.

Before that it was quite possible that any impact might be resolved in a matter of weeks rather than the increasing possibility that it might extend for months in which case I was eyeing those visits down into the 70s as recently as a week or two ago as a buying opportunity.
