It is not a poor update, just a cautious and honest one.
This is a long term opportunity as management has mentioned in the statement once the dust has settled and the unemployed and employers need help matching each other. This is when Seek will come in. I admire their honest communication.
Negative price-sensitive statements are really bad for the micro caps, not for companies like Seek.
