Yes, the treatment out-of-pockets are one thing. Even the reduced follow-up treatment/ condition hospitalisation rates are readily and ethically quantifiable
But the opportunity cost of not saving a life (or retaining function) - the elephant in the room.
Put that on the scales and the 'discussion' really takes off.
