Guys, in NSW there are now are currently 75 COVID-19 cases admitted to hospital, with 18 people in intensive care, 5 on ventilation - a worryingly high rate.
Can I suggest MSB holders time and efforts might be better spent bombarding NSW Health and the Australian Dept. of Health e-mails and twitter feeds with this presentation and results. REM-L could be given under the special access scheme.
Remestemcel-L has been shown to reduce mortality by 75% and increased days alive off mechanical ventilation in patients under age 65 when combined with dexamethasone, in comparison with controls on dexamethasone.
WOuldn't it be reawarding ethically to think MSB might be able to save 5 or 10 more people in ICU that might survive otherwise, or get 3 or 4 of those patients off ventilation and prevent their deaths? Not beyond the realms of possibilities.
