The even greater take-away from the impact of Dexamethasone when used in concert with Remstemcel is that it shines a very bright light on the path of the next level of investigation for MSB.

You are right to say 'Dexa' has little benefit in isolation but synergistically increases the benefit of MSC's when dosed in concenrt.

I accept that we are yet to have dosage and the timing defined for MSC's and within that the MOA (altho 'this' FDA could lessen the importnace of that particualr for approval).

However once MSB do define dosage & timing, in what we would all expect would be an FDA approved treatment across a range of applications, the obvious next level of investigation is to do the same with Dexa & MSB.

Undertsanding how Dexa and MSC's enhance outcomes then has the potnetil for application across some of MSB's other treatment, apart from, very sadly, perhaps not aSR-GVHD.

You then have, for the patent-holder, the opportunity to further optimise MSC outcomes off the back of an existng approved steroid.

Ahhh...when the dam breaks...it will flood!
