Mesoblast therapies have intrinsic value "belonging to the essential nature or constitution of a thing". They are for a start derived from MSC, an intrinsic part of us. Being able to save lives has an intrinsic value. The patents therefore have an intrinsic value. The data and the determination of the board and all of you long term shareholders has an intrinsic value in the ultimate commercialisation of these therapies.

Shorters, Tom Rubbishin, downrampers, and the people who tried to steal my motorbike may have an extrinsic value placed on their efforts, but in the big picture, of no importance to the intrinsic values that make society worthwhile, and no intrinsic value to furthering the advancement of medicine.
Yes they may make money but @ImaScientist so shall all the LTH, but we shall do it intrinsically. And that has to be for the good.
