This has become a national interest issue and a pain point for the Australian government, particularly with the new advice for under 50s and the AZ vaccine, where Pfizer is now recommended. There are 2 stories at play here for IDT, a near term one with the company likely to get a role in broadening the dometic supply of AZ and longer term with the country "tooling up" to be able to produce mRNA vaccines and many other medicines it currently imports, where IDT will also likely have government support for that strategy.

Day traders are currently driving the share price, but in my opinion, the longer term outlook is as, if not, more appealing than the near term potential for a government contract. The company has also turned profitable with it's medicinal cannibas business which continues to gain momentum.

Pretty solid outlook for a company with a market cap under $90m and $7m cash. Volatility is painful, but it doesn't change a solid outlook.
