IMO I don't think so, I highly doubt this! I estimate that ResApp is charging between 7 and $8 per use of the app - 30% commission to the Apple Store leaving us with approximately $5.25 outright per use. Phenix and Coviu are up selling the app for approximately 40% profit @ $11. There is also a $99 annual fee to Apple ($25 one off fee to Android) but this is insignificant. That's pretty much the core costs, I see about a 60% profit margin once all business expenses are taken out. With Coviu and Phoenix making it highly advisable for the patient to download the app, provided they have an Apple iPhone ( with an Android app coming soon) and considering it's free for the doctors to download - if their patients present with flu like symptoms they are advised to download our app.. We should be able to 'breathe easy' and 'sleep easy', pardon the puns knowing that good revenue inflows are likely to come through... we have the potential to generate significant cash flow from these three Australian revenue sources alone, not seeing huge amounts coming in for SleepCheck at the moment as it is more just a screening tool even though we know how advanced of a screening tool it is and considering it has clearance, average Joe Blow doesn't understand this, but it'll be interesting to see what their marketing campaign is all about very shortly to help the public understand the difference between the other ones available and SleepCheck.... If or when Medicare kicks in allowing the product to be paid for by the taxpayer... Boom! In the meantime this also has potential to be claimed back through private health insurance even though it's not really worth the time of day to bother doing this as it's only $11.. but there's a lot of mum and dad's out there watching every dime at the moment so....
Cheers
