I am only guessing but I would think a trial like this would need to establish the insulative capacity of the glass (at that location).
Using that as a base, they could then accurately calculate the output from the pv.
By adding the two together, they would then know the overall benefit gained from installing the glass.
Would that explain why we can see some of the screen showing positive results before the system is activated?
