@FjordInvestHow are you going with finding all of those share purchases after the dividend payments?
2019 MRC paid a 0.7c dividend, MC would have received around $550k in dividend payments, I couldn't find one share purchase for the year.
2018 is the same, $549k in dividend payments, yet I couldn't find one share purchase for year.
2017 was slightly better, he received $390k and purchased a few shares on market.
What you failed to highlight in your post above, is the damage Mark and his substantial holding can have on retail shareholders.
As you can see, at the time when MRC was trying to raise funds to keep the company operating, Mark didn't put one dollar in MRC out of his $1.3mil in dividend payments, instead, he was selling during this period.
What I find amazing is how in love shareholders are with Mark when he has smashed the SP down from 30c to 10c and caused more dilution to shareholders than would have been necessary.
Do you know if Mark was the reason why SBM's SP fell?
Do you know when he was tossed out because the SP of SBM did run up to $14.00
One thing I think you have highlighted, Mark has been fantastic at finding projects, as you would tell from him finding FMG their iron ore projects which resulted in Twiggy becoming a Billionare, Do you think Mark handed this project over to Twiggy because he didn't have the expertise to develop the projects himself?
Anyway, thank you for highlighting SBM's short-term pain after Mark sold out and the significant upside investors will have once his holding has been reduced to zero. you only need to look at MRC peers to determine its MC is significantly lower due to his selling.
