The smallest investors did really well (anyone who had less than ~$60K did better than the instos). Those above ~$60K were diluted more than 10% (and therefore did worse than the instos ... and a lot worse than smaller shareholders).
On average small investors did better than the instos - so nothing to complain about as a group.
I support CCP in scaling back. Extra capital would have effected ROE and therefore the SP.
However, I too would have liked the issue to be proportional on existing holdings. The methods to do this are more expensive tho so there is a trade-off for the board to consider.
