    I agree. Most likely over-impaired.

    However, I think there’s also another reason for this beyond conservatism. The impairment is a strong “price signal” to PDL sellers and CCPs competitors that CCP will be bidding lower prices for any PDLs that come onto the market. I’m therefore expecting PDLs bought in the next 6-18months will be very conservatively priced and set CCP up for a good 5 years of profitable growth (post FY21).
