We know that CCP has relaunched its car loan product, because the FY21Annual Report stated as much. The product is called CarStart is in place, and it features in CCP's online portal.
It seems that CCP has without fanfare returned to the small loans business via ClearCash, which was not mentioned in the FY21 Annual Report. Add to that the debt-help business Resolvr, and the Buy-Now-Pay-Later business called Wizpay, which too were not mentioned the Annual Report.
This may not be significant news, but it is interesting, and I wonder if any of these lines of business can advantageously be replicated in New Zealand and the US. Maybe something will be said about them in the AGM, although from a NPAT perspective they may now be a non-issue.
