"Real net national disposable income per capita went backwards over the quarter as mining profits fell sharply. This reflects falls in export prices for gas, coal and minerals, which drove the largest quarterly fall in export prices since 2009.The pinch on household finances has pushed down the household saving ratio to 3.2 per cent, its lowest level since mid-2008 when the RBA cash rate peaked at 7.25 per cent just before the global financial crisis."
