Well apparently the process started with an existing shareholder making a bid. Not exactly 'bag holding', but yes it's a leak to drum up expectations for the sale.
Yeh MNY are looking to sell later this year. More so to strategicly change the business. I doubt they will get a high multiple for it. Keep in mind that is a physical network as well.
The thing is CCP are doing very well in the space and are probably causing some grief for other players beeing a lot cheaper. It's an opportunity for CCP to consolidate some of the industry to further dominate with scale ect. So there is potentially good strategic value for CCP to buy Nimble, beyond just a simple purchase to own. That article quotes numbers that are hardly a bargain though. 100m is a lot for those quoted numbers given the space it's in.
Ccp have a fairly conservative track record an I dont see them getting carried away here.
