I have for a long time expected CCP to do something significant with that pile of cash, and its lending headroom. Following the earlier capital raising, CCP bought Baycorp, at a price that was a large percentage of what the CR raised. Baycorp's style of business was, and is, far more focused on serving creditors as clients compared to CCP's tendency to focus of buying debts from a few large suppliers, and focusing on the debtors to collect. If you Google "Baycorp" you will see that the material is focused on helping the creditors by providing a service. This opens up new service-based business for CCP, plus those clients also give CCP a leg-in for traditional PDL business. I did not know that Baycorp used its skip-tracing ability to provide a bailiff service to two Government agencies in WA - see https://baycorp.com.au/bailiff-services.

Anyhow, apart from buying CLH's book, I had expected to see at least one more initiative to which funds could be deployed. Maybe it is happening already without much noise - I am thinking about a major investment in technology to automate the business, which is something that is happening in similar businesses like Intrum and Encore, to mention only two.
