They are guiding for a 157% increase in PDL US purchases and generally they are not known for missing guidance. In fact they usually beat expectations. I purchased well under the current price and also doubled down near the bottom but I am certainly not inclined to sell because of what has been reported today. I did not think they would find America a pushover - different country - different laws and definitely different constituent behaviour and attitudes both of which affect likelihood of debt recovery. They will no doubt eventually get the balance right but it was never going to happen overnight.
