Another 'BNPL' player, however you buy directly from this one and they also over longer term payment plans. They also allow payment within 90 days at no extra cost. The longer plans (1 and 2 yr) are very similar to RR. The plan pricing seems quite fair at 10% to 18% per year (added to cost of the good) depending on credit quality.

Taking at look at RR pricing. A Kogan 55' 4k smart TV is currently discounted at $489 (749 full price). The same TV at RR costs $1109 (48%) over 1 year and $1469 (96%) over 2 years. It seems RR is operating right on the mainstream interest rate limit.

Perhaps Gimmie is a bit tighter on it's credit criteria, but I think this is a good example of, apart from cutting the retail footprint, why RR book has contracted so much and its now being sold. I don't think its competitive with cashed up BNPL players and hurt further by recent stimulus money reducing the need for RR.
