Risk is high. I do not know why these oil and gas tiddlers take on debt. If something goes wrong, it ends very badly. For example, Tap Oil with the blowout on the cost of the Thai project watched its share price go from c. $1.50 to less than 10 cents and had to sell everything to stay afloat. No fault of Tap, it was down to the Operator not being able to manage the cost of the project.
