Of the five customers identified in March as having multi-year contracts for the purchase of wood or oil, two of those are known to have lapsed: Shanghai Richer Link (at an average of $US150,000 a tonne for timber) and Galderma (at $US4500 a kilogram).
This timber is priced like gold.
Amazing prices they were getting, need to renegotiate obviously but US $150 000 tonne.
My firewood is $200 tonne.
Discount it by 25% , still roughly US $115 000 per tonne . Simply amazing.
And they 12 thousand hectares coming into maturity over coming years.
