I hope your sentiment is right, though how many of his own decisions he will be able to implement is another question. Lets also hope he is more than just a figurehead for the company, taking orders from those running (terribly) the show in Australia. I know from experience with other company execs based in U.S., they generally attract a substantial salary, so again, let us hope he is up to the task of driving sales growth over and above his remuneration.
Who knows, if he is worth his salt, he may end up running the whole operation, as some of us realise it would be nigh on impossible to achieve the underwhelming result that has been seen for this company to date.
