Great pick up!
That MOU, although I have not mentioned, also suggested GE to provide equity as well. I thought it was a bit much on top of the AU$450M so stayed quiet on this point.
Essentially, the EDC, may fit in with other Europe offtake noted. i.e. with many relationships, it may indirectly benefit Canada that other offtakers receive supply.
The provision of this debt by the EDC, increases indirect investment in other Candian businesses. Once we find out the 'Europe' offtaker (outside of GE) this will become more clear.
