Could it be that the Tacere deal and the latest announcement are designed to attract prospective investors with an HCV project that might have shorter time to market horizons than other BLT options ?

Of course, having been in BLT six years I'd much rather some kind of joint venture deal, just for HCV, that would leave potential upside with other treatments for longterm holders - the Father Christmas / Fairy Godmother outcome !

I think the science has fantastic potential, but the path to market (and returns to shareholders)tantalisingly slow.
