One little thing therein jogged my memory, something that I had wondered at before, but never asked the question...probably because I kept forgetting...is in regard to this:
"Borborema was previously Crusader’s flagship project. It is a 1.6 million ounce mining reserve that will require $US200m to $US250m in development capital to get into production."
Why such a high Capex in a country where costs are low, wages are low, and used mining equipment abounds in large quantities (the latter from Crusader)?
I know water was not naturally available, and I think the highway would have to be moved but beyond that, why?
We could start a mine up at Nullagine for a fraction of that cost, paying large wages,...so why? Methinks they could do better than that....
