I have around $100 000 equity in an investment loan
My housing loan is approximately $100 000
My investment property is positively geared
Ok My question is can I sell my investment property to myself to release the 100 000 equity so i can pay of my housing loan.
The reason for doing this is then I can claim the interest paid on the new investment loan.
Are there tax implications can i legally do this
