It is all fairy tales. There are rules and regulations about buy backs. Buy backs will not push the price down or up. If the share price drops, as in the example of Karoon, then share holders have lost money.
Wish holders would see that there are two sides to the equation. Why do you see less shares and not less cash on the balance sheet?
Growth is not achieved by less shares, it is achieved by investments. If you can't grow, return cash to shareholders. All share holders. Not to just those who want to get out.
