    Good call.

    If someone fresh out of school came to me and said, "I want to become a successful investor. What's the one single best bit of advice I should follow?"

    My answer would be:

    "Use broker research only to improve your understanding of how a business works. But ignore - completely - what broking analysts say in terms of their BUY or SELL recommendations. And certainly pay ZERO attention to their target prices."
