Have said for years now that I think I could write a good book...

Have said for years now that I think I could write a good book on some of what my life has dished up to me but it is a DRE thread so I won’t bore everybody for too long so will keep it short on my swimming. Last year was crossing Toowoon Bay and it was a little rougher and turbulent than usual and although I can swim a long distance am definately not a fast or stylish swimmer , but this day I had a lifesaver come out and wanted to know if I was ok buzzing about me on a JetSki , told him him yeah all good, so started going again and I could here and see he’s still buzzing around me so I stop again and he says mate your in a rip and not going anywhere can I tow you over the sandbar to the inside and you can make it back to the beach, I say I’m fine I swim here all the time and know I’m not going far but was determined to keep going and knew if it went on too much longer I could just change my angle and go in. Anyway he must of been a new lifeguard to the beach or would have known how regular I do it, but again he comes back and my patience was done so I stopped and said what the F##k mate leave me alone and go and save someone else I’m ok alright, as cranky as I got I finished with but thanks for your concern anyway , shook my head and resumed the swim, he finally got it but didn’t take the JetSki in until he was sure I wasn’t totally crazy .
