Now it makes sense. I was wondering how it was getting such growth. It spent $26M on marketing in one half!!!!! That's over 22% of revenue!! That is absolutely outrageous, especially for just a reseller. Just a scam to prop up the 'we are growing' story. That's about the same marketing spend as KOGAN, except KOGAN does around $1.2B of sales.
I hate to tell you all, but anyone can get sales by going broke with marketing.
Anyone who is just looking at sales, and thinking "Cettire is growing so fast, this is awesome" will be absolutely scorched within the next couple of years when the SP implodes.
So hilarious - profit went backwards by $15M despite tripling sales.
I think the 50c share price it IPO'd at is about what I'd buy it for.
I think the pain is only just beginning.
