I won't rubbish the pip traders because they provide liquidity to the market, in fact enable the more bullish to pick up good lines of stock. But I don't feel sorry for anyone who sold down today after the announcement hit. We already knew that the spud was imminent, and with each day we're closer to the first oil announcement. Anyone who sells now has themselves to blame, even if they're up a few pips.
After such a long lead up I'm getting excited too, because IMO 12 - 14 cents should follow soon after, and I'm wondering how high Amistad alone can push the share price. That 290 metres unlogged is exciting for me as from my past experience its probably a zone full of fractures, full to the brim of moveable oil!
